Wow...things have been a little crazy around here. With the holidays upon us, it's seems like time is flying by. Well here are some updates


Jason is no long with Walmart, he found a better offer, and he is now with PharmCare. It's a closed door pharmacy. Today was his first day, so I'm not sure how it went yet. He will work 9-6 Monday thru Friday, and be on call a couple of weeks a month. He was a little nervous this morning being that this was the first time he had to step into a new role after 8 years with Walmart.

Well that is about all that we have going on. Love you all, and know that you are in our thoughts and prayers each and everyday.

Hello everyone!! It's been a little crazy around here lately! With family members being in and out of the hospital! Well I just wanted to say that we got to hang out with our good friend Jason Sampler and his beautiful new bride. However, stupid me didn't get any pics! I was kinda of out of it! LOL! We had a blast with you guys and we hope to see you again soon!

A Little Update!

It's been a while since I last updated! So here is what's been going on!!!

JJ was on vacation last week, he didn't play a lot of golf however. He got a lot of fun time with Cassie and Kensington!! He loves those girls so much!!!

Me.....well I have been running around trying to keep up with the girls JJ loves so much!! HAHAHA!! My grandfather got to go home on Friday, he doesn't seem to being doing all that great at home, so please keep him in your prayers.

On Saturday, we headed down to Hobart for Jessica and Heath's wedding. Yes, we missed the OU/Missouri HOME game!! Jess, you guys should feel loved, lol!!!!!!!!!!! The wedding was very pretty and the Bride was beautiful!! I can't wait to see the pictures!!

We don't have a lot to update on the baby front, other than please keep us in your prayers! I hope all of you have a great week!!

Congrats to Friends

Well we just wanted to send out congrats to a couple of our friends!!

Bud and Jill had baby Matthew on Saturday. We got to meet him tonight and I must say, he is so handsome. So Nathan is now a BIG brother!! You guys have a beautiful family!!

Debi and Garrett had baby Charolette(spelling?) Monday. We haven't gotten a chance to meet the newest princess but I know we can't wait! I'm sure that she is beautiful just like her Mommy!!

We love you all! We can't wait to watch you little ones grow, and maybe spoil them a little!!

Well I know I promised pics awhile back but you know how life goes!! So here they are!! These are from the first game, against North Texas!!

Update on the baby front: Well I called the home study lady two weeks ago, and the FBI rejected my fingerprints(no not because I'm some type of criminal) they were smudged! So I had to go get them redone! I went to the county jail to have them done(now that was an experience). Also last Friday we started going back to the fertility specialist. We are going to start up that journey again! Keep us in your prayers!! Love you all!!

Just saying hello

We haven't been doing a whole lot lately, other than working!! However JJ is very excited about the fact that football season starts on Saturday!!! Another great thing about Saturday is he starts his vacation!!! YAY!!!!! I promise we will have pics from Saturday. Please continue to pray for Grandma Dot!! Love you all!!

Prayers Needed

Well this isn't a happy post. My family is in need of all your prayers. My great grandmother on my mom's side isn't doing so well. She has been sick for a while now. About a month or so ago she got really sick and was in the hospital. Well the doctors had gotten rid of the infection and sent her back to the nursing home. Well my aunt called me this morning to see if I could come get Cass because her and my mom were going to Cordell. Dot had a heart attack around 3 this morning. So if you could send your prayers that she isn't in pain and that they Lord will protect her, I would appreciate it.

We made it home!!

We got back to Oklahoma yesterday at 4pm!! I have never been so happy to drive in this great city in my whole life!! Getting around New Orleans was absolutely HORRIBLE!! I'm not joking!! I can't tell you how many times we got turned around!! At one point we were a mile outside of the lower 9th ward(OPPPSSS)!!

However we had a blast!! We got to see our good friend(Jason Sampler) get married to a beautiful woman!! Congrats Sampler and Terah!! We are so happy for you guys!!

On Saturday(our only free day) we walked the French Quater, and did the City Tour(yep, we looked like tourist!!) I have tons of pics to share, however I haven't downloaded them onto my laptop yet!!

JJ would say that his favorite part of the trip would be meeting an awesome dog named MOJO!!! This was a cool dog that we met in the French Quater, who would grab a dollar bill that you held out to him and then put it in the hat(yes I have pics of JJ doing this)

My favorite part would have to be walking the French Quater and seeing all the history(needlessly to say I have tons of pics of the buildings)

I promise to post pics soon!! I'm still trying to get my booty in gear to get caught up around here!!

We also wanted to say Congrats to our great friends Bud and Jill!! We are so excited for you guys!! We can't wait to spoil him rotten!!

There are done!!!!!!!!!!

The profiles are done!! Well almost, I lack having them copied and tied together. But for the most part they are done!! I will try and get them scanned in so I can share them with you!! I owe a HUGE, I mean HUGE, THANK YOU to KIM!! You have no idea how much you helped me!! Thank you so much!!

Well I have Debi's baby shower here at the house tomorrow night, so I had better get cleaning!! Also we leave next Thursday morning for New Orleans, we are excited to get away and that we are going to get to see friends!!

Working on new profiles

Well our friend Kim and her daughter Kensington came over yesterday afternoon to help me put together our new profiles!! THANK YOU!!!!! We got three pages done, and have about 5 or so to go!! Kim, is very creative, even though she is going to say no she isn't!! When we get them done, I will try to scan them in for all to see!!

We leave for New Orleans in 9 days!! We are going down there for Jason Samplers wedding, one of JJ's best friends. We are excited to get away for a couple of days, even if it's going to be super hot down there!!

No new news on the adoption front, but as soon as there is you all will know! Enjoy these pics from our trip to Kansas City!!!

Congrats Crystal and Joey

I just wanted to say Congrats to my cousin Joey and his wife, Crystal. On July 24th their daughter, Lilly, was born. It's the first child! Congrats and I hope we get to meet her soon!!

First Blog

HELLO!!!! So I decided that this would be a great way to keep all of our friends and family updated on our lives!!

JJ is still working at Walmart in Yukon!!! Seems to be loving it, as much as you can love WORK!!! I still have Cassie during the day, however I have added another little Princess!! I started keeping Kensington after Christmas, she is the daughter of our good friends Kim and Joey!! I have always started my own photography company, Beautiful Moments Photography! Though I haven't had a lot of jobs, I have had fun with ones I have done!!

The adoption update(which is the real reason you all come, lol) we are at a year of sending out our profiles to birthmothers, we haven't had any real bites until this past month. We had a close call but the mother decided to go ahead and parent the baby. We are having to update our homestudy!! Can you say YUCK!!! However this time around we have to have a FBI Fingerprint check! We went to the police dept this evening and had that done, now I know what if feels like to be a criminal!!! LOL!!!!!!!!
